The Fans

Most computer parts are sensitive against heat. For maintaining air circulation inside the system unit and thereby cooling the crucial things inside there are several fans built in.

A normal PC usually has got three fans: one inside the power supply, one on top of the CPU, and one in the chassis behind the system unit's front.

For cost cutting purposes many manufacturers do not install the chassis fan. For the sake of protecting the much more expensive hardware, however, it should be in!
